Description On the Back of The Book

In April 2018, at the age of 19, God took Mikella into a vision. In the vision, she was consumed by a large body of water, but she shot up quickly and powerfully. Because Mikella's grandmother had just passed, she thought the vision represented her overcoming the grief of her death. Little did she know that God was about to take her on a journey. She realized in 2019, that her books would not only align with her ministry, but also with her speaking career as a Christian motivational speaker. 

This book is dedicated to her grandmother Dora, and it is a 20-day guide (which includes songs, quotes, scriptures, and activities in each chapter) based on her life journey and how she overcame hardships while being perfected at the same time. One thing she realized is that we all have a gift, but what you are anointed to do will prevail over your imperfections. 

“Anointing Over Perfection: The Power of Perseverance in Pursuit of Purpose” was inspired by her looking at all the mistakes she made in her life, feeling and being broken, and not feeling qualified to be used by God. She believes that she had to go through certain things, so the reader of this book wouldn’t have to. She realizes that no matter what happens to her in life, or how she responds to what happens, God will not stop loving her. He’s going to use everything she went through and goes through for His glory. As Psalm 138:8 says, “The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.”

Meaning Behind The Shirt Design

The message behind this shirt is you can prosper with the help of Christ. Philippians 4:13 tells you, "that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you". 

Reasoning Behind Logo Design On The Shirt 

(I want you to notice there are three sections to my logo design)

The Abbreviations 

The CB3 stands for Covered By Three and MFC stands for Millennial For Christ. 

Shapes 

The three triangles represent the trinity, my triple anointing, and what Covered By Three is all about. The triangles are also in the shape of the letter M to represent the first initial of my name, Mikella. The microphone represents the speaking and singing aspects of my brand. The pencil inside of the microphone represents the educational aspect of my brand. 

Colors

 The colors black, red, and white have always been my favorite colors before I even knew their meanings. In Christianity, black represents darkness and uncleanliness. When you come into the light of Jesus, your sins are washed in His red blood and you become white as snow. The color black also represents power, authority (leadership), and success. The color red is known as a representation of fire, so it is associated with energy, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love. The color white stands for hope, purity, mental clarity, impartiality, and organization. It's so amazing how each color represents my personality and the aspects and principles of Covered By Three. 

Every part of the logo was carefully thought out, and the ideas were given to me directly from God for his purpose and glory.
